The Road.
After awakening last night from a dead sleep due to a lightning strike of luminosity and then the thunder it was a welcome contrast to experience the high summer stillness of today. Now that night is falling the heavy rhythm of the cicadas cut the heart, bringing back memories of summers gone, and daring to ask me, “Where will the Road take you now?”

These hot July days are a little more bearable outside of New York City. I am spending the weekend in Connecticut, and it is grand!
